Welcome to Hey Meow Graphics! I’m Michelle, an independent artist and maker with over 30+ years of experience in the graphic and sign industry.

How It All Started

My journey as a creative entrepreneur began in an unexpected place — a local sign shop. I walked in knowing nothing about the graphic industry, only that I loved to draw and had a curiosity for creating. What started as learning the basics quickly grew into a passion. I discovered the thrill of turning simple sketches and ideas into tangibles creations brought to life.

That experience lit a fire in me. Over time, what began as a job became a calling, and eventually blossomed into Hey Meow Graphics — a brand where I combine my love of drawing, horror films, jam-band culture, and of course, cats, into designs that connect with people in fun and unexpected ways.

The Creative Process

Ideas strike at the strangest times. Usually in the middle of the night when I’m dozing off to a horror movie and a scene suddenly sparks an idea. ( IT is one of my go-to bedtime comfort movies) From there, it’s hours of brainstorming and going down the research rabbit hole.  I’m not just making stickers — I’m telling little stories through art that connect with people who share the same love for quirky, spooky, and heartfelt designs.

From horror to the Grateful Dead and everything in between, Hey Meow Graphics is all about mixing the things I love most into unique, collectible art. Each product is crafted with care, using professional printing techniques and a whole lot of heart. I’m always experimenting with new ideas and techniques so follow my blog for looks behind the scene and new product announcements.
